Barn Reared Chicken
All of the barn-reared poultry that we supply is sourced locally; just a few miles away from our shop. All of the barn reared poultry that we supply meets the Assured Chicken Production Standards and carries the Red Tractor mark.
Free Range Chicken
The free-range chickens that we supply are reared in small flocks and are provided with the highest of welfare standards.
These chickens are free to roam across many acres of traditional English woodland and pastures. Whilst roaming the countryside, these chickens are free to feed naturally from their surroundings.
The chickens have access to mobile huts, which provide shelter from the elements. They are provided with a constant water supply and are fed on the finest maize and corn feed.
This healthy and stress free environment ensures that these free-range chickens provide an excellent and natural flavour.
Turkey
Our Christmas turkeys come from a small farm in the Lake District. Why from the Lake District? Well, Ryan has dealt with this particular turkey farm for many years and knows that the quality and the flavour of the turkeys that they produce is excellent.
